Week 8: Atoms, Elements, & the Periodic Table

This week we will begin our new unit on the periodic table. The first several weeks we spent our time looking at matter in a macro (large) view. Now we will look through our imaginary microscopes to study the atoms--the building blocks of matter and how these atoms make up the elements that are represented in the periodic table of elements.

I will be out majority of this week, but all activities will keep you engaged and thinking deeply about atoms until. This week's activities include several short videos, interactive hands-on assignments, a foldable, and some notes. Make sure you review this information each night in preparation for the vocabulary quiz we will have after Fall Break.
