Classroom Expectations & the 1st Assignment

Okay today we reviewed some of my expectations for the class this year.  I thought that instead of the traditional PowerPoint, I would use different memes to convey the various messages to each class.  After that we took out our composition notebooks and set them up for class.  If anyone missed the opportunity to do so here is the link to the directions.

Then everyone received their very first science assignment (due Friday by the way). After gluing the handout to the inside of the front cover, students had to reflect on the various traits essential to the science classroom.  Students were asked to rate themselves on each one. This chart should only take up the first two pages of their notebook.  Anything not finished in class today will be addressed in class on Wednesday. After that, it will become homework.

Don't forget that all forms must be signed and returned today! Don't delay!
